    Class Guidelines

    The students created their Rights, Responsibilities and Rewards for the Classroom the first week of school.

    They also brainstormed a list of Student Jobs and Teacher Jobs that were used to write our Mission Statement.

    The students compiled a list of Rights, Responsibilities, & Rewards:

    1. Take care of our things and be prepared
    2. Complete my work
    3. Stay on task
    4. Be respected
    5. Use computers and class materials
    6. Leave my seat
    7. Have fun
    8. Learn

    Responsibilities:

    1. Bring all materials, keep track of them, treat them nicely
    2. Pay attention, listen, don’t disturb others, follow directions
    3. Have self-discipline, ignore other noise, don’t talk or look around
    4. Respect others, don’t make fun of their ideas, opinions, appearances, etc.
    5. Use things nicely, return them
    6. Push in your chair, don’t disturb others, only when necessary, at appropriate times
    7. Be respectful, no fighting, complete all your work, be safe, follow directions
    8. PARTICIPATE, focus, listen, follow directions, keep a quiet work time

    Rewards:

    Eat lunch with Mrs. Nau Eat lunch with Mrs. Ratcliff /Mrs. Trecost Candy Free Time Pass Sit with a friend at lunch Note home Pencil/eraser Free Homework Pass

    STUDENT JOBS:

    Work hard/check your work

    Keep an agenda

    Return homework on time

    Listen to instructions

    Respect teachers and classmates

    Be responsible

    Participate, practice

    Be prepared for class

    Have fun

    Work independently

    Be focused

    Our Mission Statement: Our mission in Mrs. Ratcliff’s/Trecost’s class is to get a good education by participating, practicing, following the rules, listening, staying focused, and doing our best work.
