The Bethel-Tate Arts Appreciation Fund will enhance academic achievement and cultural awareness by financially supporting events, projects, programs and activites that foster and encourage an appreciation for the arts through exposure and participation opportunities for the students of the Bethel-Tate Local School District.
Before submitting an application, please consider the following.
These grants, awarded directly to educators and/or community members, are intended to encourage creative teaching, learning and special motivational activities in Bethel-Tate schools.
Applications can be submitted for any special project, creative activity, or event that addresses the Fund’s mission.
Proposed projects may affect any segment of the school: one classroom or grade level, the entire school or any selected student group.
Proposals are not limited to academic projects; creative ideas that will motivate or inspire students are encouraged.
Projects that involve parents or community volunteers and/or those which are intergenerational or
multicultural are strongly encouraged.
Typically, educators should not include sales tax in grant requests (schools are exempt). In addition,wherever possible seek discounts and in-kind services.
Please use the following form to submit grant requests. The form may be downloaded, completed, printed and mailed or saved as a Word document and attached to an email. Addresses are found at the bottom of the form. Any questions may be submitted to the Advisory Committee at betheltateaaf@gmail.com.
The Bethel Tate Arts Appreciation Fund Advisory Committee has authorized $250 in available grant funds for the 2008-2009 school year. The Committee looks forward to hearing from you.
